The Eatzii hands free eating device for ALS and SCI is in development phase. Eatzii will provide a framework for independent dining for individuals experiencing severe weakness of the upper extremities. The Eatzii will applicable for individuals with ALS, a high level spinal cord injury or other conditions resulting in decreased movement or control of the upper extremities. Selecting from one of two plate sections, the user will employ side head movement to push food into the central channel. The user will then activate a central pusher with head movement to push food forward onto a spoon empowering hands free eating! See the video on our home page by clicking here. Panini Eatzii our companion product empowers hands free eating of burgers, sandwiches, pizza, omelettes and more and is available now!

Eatzii will also be low in cost compared to other devices. With Eatzii, the user will be truly independent. There will be no robotics, no batteries or power cords to worry about, just muscle powered functional ability with independent dining.

Eatzii will be made 100% in the USA of durable, quality materials. The plate sections will be made of FDA approved HDPE plastic material that is cleaned easily. Eatzii will attach securely to any flat surface and will infinitely adjustable in height.
